Description:
Learn nature-inspired eco-printing on silk scarves. Print and dye fabric using botanicals from our gardens and forests. We will use pre-mordanted silk scarves and a variety of flowers, leaves, grasses and bark to design, print, and “set” fabric. Botanicals are selected and arranged on silk, then rolled, tied and steamed to permanently imprint shapes and colors. There is magic in this process; no two scarves are ever alike!
